We are LabThunder

Different
backgrounds.
One drive.

LabThunder was built by people who know the challenges of modern labs from firsthand experience. Today, our team brings together expertise from labs, software development, AI, and company building.
Deeply rooted in the lab

Hundreds of labs visited, direct insight into real problems - paper logbooks, Excel chaos, lost knowledge. That was the starting point.

Built out of conviction

We don't build features for roadmaps. Every feature solves a real problem we've either observed ourselves or heard from customers.

🇩🇪
Proudly made in Germany

Developed and hosted in Europe. GDPR-compliant, ISO-ready, with German data protection standards.

What drives us

Mission & Vision

our Mission

We help labs stop waste, increase productivity, preserve knowledge, and become independent - through innovative software and intelligent automation.

our Vision

We want to redefine efficiency in labs by pushing the boundaries of what's possible - for progress, society, and humanity.

Our principles

What we truly believe

No polished values for the wall. This is how we work every day - within our team and with our customers.
Precision in everything

We build software with the same precision labs expect in their daily work - reliable, consistent, audit-ready.

People first

We build tools that empower lab professionals, simplify decision-making, and reduce cognitive load in demanding environments.

Transparency & trust

Open communication, honest feedback, and responsible data handling shape how we act - both within our team and in our relationships with customers.

Innovation with purpose

We don't innovate for innovation's sake. Every feature must solve a real problem, reduce workload, or eliminate inefficiencies.

Collaboration as a core principle

We work in an interdisciplinary way - science, engineering, design - because the best solutions emerge when knowledge can flow freely.

Knowledge that lasts

We make sure valuable knowledge stays in the lab - even when employees leave the company.

LabThunder

Lab problems became LabThunder

How lab problems became LabThunder

The idea for LabThunder emerged from experiences gathered across hundreds of labs we visited. The same problem kept coming up: important knowledge is trapped in paper folders, spreadsheets, or the heads of individual employees. As soon as information is missing, equipment breaks down, or experienced colleagues leave the company, the search starts all over again.

Out of this shared conviction, our team came together, bringing expertise from lab practice, software development, product development, and sales. It's precisely these different perspectives that make us strong:

We understand not only the technical possibilities, but also the daily workflows and real challenges of modern labs.
